Our special education program supports excellence in achievement by providing specially designed instruction and related services to students with disabilities as outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Students are provided services as delineated on their Individualized Education Programs (IEP)

Woodland Joint USD participates with other districts in our county in the Yolo County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) in order to insure that a full continuum of services is available to meet the needs of our students in the least restrictive environment.
