Advantages

Disadvantages
- a minimum of 30 hours of independent study each week is difficult,
- requiring self-discipline and good study skills
- limited peer interaction & school activities
- increased amount of reading and written work
- year-round program (summer attendance required for students behind in credits)
Requirements
Enrolled students must comply with the following requirements to successfully matriculate:
- complete a minimum of 30 hours of independent study weekly
- attend a weekly appointment with the assigned teacher at ILC
- complete all required coursework as specified in course contract with a score of 70% or better
- be on a track to earn 60 credits a year
