Advisory Committee
District GATE Advisory Committee
The District GATE Advisory Committee meets on the dates below. The committee consists of teachers, administrators, and parents. Functions of the committee include:
- Involvement in program planning and evaluation.
- Providing parent education opportunities related to gifted education.
- Disseminating information on current research and literature in gifted education.
- Collaborating with the district GATE coordinator to offer professional development opportunities to staff, parents, and community members related to gifted education.
All parents of students involved in the GATE program are welcome to attend District GATE Advisory Committee meetings. See the chart below for the current year's meeting schedule.
