CALIFORNIA MOTORCYCLE SAFETY PROGRAM | |
| Basic Rider Course | |

Is designed primarily for beginning and inexperienced riders. The course includes 5 hours of classroom and 10 hours of on-cycle instruction. It covers from beginning to advanced riding skills. We'll provide the motorcycles. We also provide helmets if needed. (Successful completion of the Basic Rider Course is required by the DMV for any rider under the age of 21 seeking his or her first California motorcycle license.) Experienced Rider Course | |
|
Is designed for those riders who are already licensed and frequently ride. The students use their own motorcycle. The course is 4 1/2 hours of riding exercises and exercise debriefs, which include weaving, quick stops, limited space maneuvers, cornering judgment and swerving. Passengers may participate. No DMV certification given for this course. | |

CALIFORNIA STATE NOTARY PUBLIC | |

California Needs More Notary Publics Now! This class will provide the new or previously commissioned Notary Public with the education and skills to pass the state proctored examination, detect fraud, and be successful in a new career. This class exceeds the qualifications for new applicants and Notaries that are renewing their commissions for the 6-hr class requirements mandated by the new law that went into effect in January 2005. Students of this class have a 94% passing rate. California State Proctors will administer the Notary Exam at the end of the class. | |

LOAN DOCUMENT SIGNING SPECIALIST | |

California's real estate industry is in need of notaries that would like to become a Loan Document Signing Specialist. The instructor will present information on the duties and responsibilities of the Notary Public entering the loan industry as a Loan Signing Specialist. Upon completion of the class, the student will be eligible to take the open book certification examination and receive a Certificate of Completion for the course. | |

TRAFFIC VIOLATOR SCHOOL | |

This is an 8 hour course established with cooperation of Public Education Providers and the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). This course is open to all individuals who have a traffic violation and have been given the option of taking a safety class by the court. Attendance at the entire 8-hour course is mandatory to satisfactorily complete the course and receive a Certificate of Completion. Students should bring their court papers to class. All Traffic Violators School instructors are licensed by the State of California. Class is taught by Mr. Campbell. Students must pre-register and pre-pay. | |

FURNITURE REFINISHING | |
| (15) This hands-on class highlights care, repair and refinishing of furniture with emphasis on older or antique furniture. Short discussions on care, types of finishes, repair techniques and methods of caning will be included. Students will provide their own project and materials. Bring the item on which you will be working to the first class. The first class will include evaluation of projects and information on supply sources and material needs. This is a 10 week, 30 hour class. Class starts March 19th and ends May 28th.. | |

YOGA STRETCH |

(30) Yoga Stretch is designed to stretch and strengthen the muscles and increase flexibility and balance by using yoga moves and postures. Try this class to enhance the quality of your life. Learn to breathe for relaxation and stress relief. Wear comfortable clothing (no shoes necessary) and bring a yoga/exercise mat, small towel and water. Minimum 15 students needed. This is a 10 week, 13 hour course. Class starts March 17th and ends May 27th (Holiday make-up class will be held on Tuesday) |

COMMUNITY BAND |
| Do you have a musical instrument gathering dust in your closet? Do you want a chance to play your musical instrument in a band? This class is for you! This Community Band will be made up of adults and some advanced high school students who want to continue with music. Symphonic literature and techniques in music knowledge and instrumental skills will be studied. This band will participate in numberous public concerts during the year. Students will be required to provide their own insruments. Student under age 18 must audition with instructor for approval into course. This is an on-going class. Fee: $85/year.

This class will make it easy. Learn to knit with simple projects that are fun and fashionable. The first class will provide practice needles and yarn for beginning skills. Students will be given information about purchasing supplies for class projects. This will be a 4 week, 6 hour class. Class starts March 26th and ends April 23rd. | |

BEGINNING YOGA STRETCH |

Learn the basics of DANCE. An introduction to the fundamental styles of dance in ballet, modern and jazz dance. This class is designed for students that are new to dance. Students will learn the positions of the feet and arms as well as establish proper alignment and turnout. There will be an emphasis on strength, balance and endurance along with rhythmic activities. This will be a 10 week, 10 hour class. Class starts March 19th and ends May 28th. |
